(PPM / Maintenance)

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Plumber to join a secure prison project in Manchester, working on a long-term basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) in accordance with specifications and scheduled works packages.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified plumber with a strong background in facilities maintenance to work within a professional and safety-conscious team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out routine and non-routine plumbing maintenance
* Perform fault finding and provide effective solutions
* Identify and report life-expired equipment
* Check, repair, and replace plumbing systems as needed
* Complete inspections, water sampling, and risk assessments
* Conduct mains water supply repairs
* Adhere strictly to health and safety standards and method statements
* Minimise material waste and promote efficient working practices
* Ensure all statutory maintenance tasks are completed on time and are fully compliant
Requirements:
* NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing (or equivalent)
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Gas Safe Registration (essential)
* Legionella Control (L8) certification
* Experience with Maximo or similar maintenance management systems
* Competent in the use of light plant equipment
* Comfortable working at height and in all weather conditions
