Manufacturing Engineer - Carbon60 at AEROCONTACT in Broughton, UK. Carbon60 is seeking a talented Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and technically-minded individual to make a significant impact within a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
* Identify, analyse, and solve recurring technical issues on the production floor.
* Provide on-shift line-side support to manage technical challenges and drive continuous improvement.
* Address issues such as missing parts, non‑conformities, outstanding work, maintenance, and optimise the use of jigs and tools.
* Support capacity management, anticipating fluctuations across the product life cycle and develop necessary competencies.
Qualifications
* Desirable NVQ Level 4 / HNC or equivalent qualification.
* Background in Manufacturing Engineering.
* Previous experience in a technical role, with knowledge of CATIA and SAP (preferred).
* Basic understanding of aircraft build philosophy.
Working Pattern
* Double Day Shift Pattern (20% uplift on rate).
* Alternating weeks of morning and afternoon Monday to Friday.
* Morning shift: 6:00am – 1:10pm.
* Afternoon shift: 1:30pm – 8:40pm.
