NES Fircroft are looking for an experienced FP&A Lead professional to join a global energy organisation undergoing significant transformation within their pressure control operations.
This is a permanent role based in Aberdeen (Bridge of Don) with high visibility and direct influence across regional and international finance teams.
This position will take full ownership of the financial planning cycle for the UK business, working alongside an international finance function and supporting an expanding operational footprint across Europe.
You’ll lead all budgeting, forecasting, KPI development, financial close processes, and ensure compliance with key financial policies and accounting standards. The role also offers collaboration with stakeholders across the UK, Norway, and the wider global organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and monthly performance review cycles
Develop, implement, and track KPIs across operational and functional areas
Manage the monthly, quarterly, and year‑end close
Prepare and deliver high‑quality management reporting and financial insights
Ensure compliance with IFRS and relevant financial policies
Utilise Oracle ERP to maintain accurate and robust financial data
Business partnering with UK, Norway, and international finance stakeholdersSkills & Experience Required
Minimum 5 years’ experience in FP&A, management reporting, or financial analysis
Strong knowledge of IFRS (essential)
Exposure to US GAAP (advantageous, not essential)
Previous experience with Oracle ERP
Professional qualifications such as CMA / CPA are beneficial
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data into actionable insight
Confident communicator with the ability to influence key stakeholdersLocation & Working Pattern
