We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Shunter Drivers to join our client in Bridgwater. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for stable and full-time hours with competitive pay.
Shift Pattern:
6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Pay Rate:
£16.25 – £17.77 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
* Safely manoeuvring vehicles within the yard
* Coupling and uncoupling trailers
* Ensuring vehicles are positioned correctly for loading and dispatch
* Conducting routine vehicle checks and reporting any defects
* Maintaining a safe and organised working environment
Requirements:
* Valid Class 1 (CE) HGV Licence
* Valid CPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence)
* Valid Digital Tachograph (Digi) Card
* Good awareness of health and safety procedures
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong attention to detail
