About The Role

As a Transport Returns Operative, you'll play a vital role in maintaining vehicle compliance, supporting warehouse operations, and ensuring a smooth end-of-day process for our drivers.
* Salary: £ 25,722.97 per annum
* Hours: 40.25 hours per week
* Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (Rotational shift pattern)
* Start/Finish time: 6.00am - 6:00pm
* Job Type: Full time and permanent contract
Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing
* Debrief drivers and inspect returning vehicles for compliance and safety.
* Report defects, damages, or safety concerns promptly.
* Communicate effectively with drivers regarding daily routes and operational issues.
* Assist with loading and unloading vehicles as needed.
* Manage returns documentation and perform related administrative tasks.
* Update depot performance statistics and contribute to daily reporting.
A Few Things About You
* An understanding of transport legislation and logistics operations is desirable.
* Ability to respond quickly and effectively to operational challenges.
* Strong communication skills (Verbal and Written).
* Competent use of Microsoft, particularly Excel.
* Confident in addressing vehicle-related concerns with drivers in a constructive manner.
