EdEx - Education Recruitment is seeking a graduate for an Aspiring Assistant Psychologist role at a community-focused school in Tower Hamlets, London. The school is an Ofsted 'Outstanding' establishment, purpose-built to support a happy, inclusive and exciting place to learn. They are ideally looking for a psychology graduate to start ASAP or in September 2025, perfect if you're finishing a university course. The school believes that All children can achieve success and they need an eager graduate to help set high expectations for all pupils. You will help to develop confident and happy pupils with various SEN/additional needs.
Responsibilities
* Support students with wide-ranging SEN needs (mild to moderate).
* Work within KS1 and KS2 supporting them in their learning and day-to-day activities.
* Support children with SEN/additional needs and tailor your approach based on each child's needs.
* Support the teacher throughout the day.
* ASAP starts — initially up to July 2026 (Full Academic Year).
* Located in Tower Hamlets, London.
* Provide academic and emotional support to ensure children are comfortable and feel supported.
Qualifications
* Childcare-related experience working with SEN students (Autism, Speech and Language, Behaviour, Physical Disabilities).
* Patience, resilience and the ability to stay calm in challenging situations.
* Genuine passion for teaching or a career working with children.
* Graduate with a 1st Class or 2:1.
