Senior GIS Specialist Location: Bicester ( 3 days per week in office, 2 days from home ) Salary : up to 40k basic plus benefits Key Responsibilities: * Produce accurate GIS maps and plans, including land ownership, access routes, utility layouts, and supporting legal documentation. * Source, analyse, and manage geospatial data from providers such as Land Registry, Ordnance Survey, Environment Agency, and utility companies. * Provide GIS expertise and insights to internal teams and clients to support planning and operational decisions. * Maintain and update mobile and web-based GIS platforms using the latest technology. * Ensure data quality through rigorous standards and the use of bespoke geospatial databases. * Identify, license, and integrate new data sources to enhance project outcomes. * Manage GIS-related tasks and small projects, ensuring high standards and timely delivery. * Estimate workloads and advise project teams on timelines and GIS requirements. * Mentor and support junior GIS team members by providing guidance, feedback, and conducting performance reviews.
