Our stunning care home, Adel Manor Care Centre, is a purpose-built facility located in the popular northern suburb of Leeds, West Yorkshire. The home is registered to provide care to 74 residents with a variety of needs, including residential, nursing, and dementia care. We aim to deliver the highest standards of safety, comfort, and care, reflecting the New Care vision.
We invest in the latest technology and offer a purposeful programme of daily activities and gentle exercise to enhance the residents' experience, care, and wellbeing. All team members are carefully selected for their warmth and passion, with full induction and ongoing training provided by our in-house trainers in conjunction with the New Care Academy. We have maintained zero agency usage for over 4 years by employing a permanent staff team to ensure continuity of care from staff who know and residents who trust them. Across New Care, all staff are paid the national living wage or above.
We are seeking to appoint a kind, caring, and organized Hospitality Assistant to join our team. The role involves ensuring residents and visitors receive efficient food service, maintaining a clean working environment within the dining room, and serving at all times. The position is full-time with an excellent hourly rate of £11.44. Shift times are 08:00-19:00, with alternate weekend working.
Role Responsibilities:
* Ensure a high standard of hospitality service is provided.
* Support and assist visitors.
* Inform the Chef of any individual requirements of residents.
* Follow cleaning schedules and procedures as per company HACCP standards.
* Adhere to all training provided.
* Properly write up records and reports.
* Promote safeguarding and the welfare of adults the post holder is responsible for or comes into contact with.
Skills and Experience Required:
* Hospitality or catering experience is desirable.
* Previous experience working in a care setting is desirable.
* Effective communication skills with team members.
* Willingness to participate in activities organized in the Home.
