Our stunning care home, Adel Manor Care Centre, is a purpose-built facility located in the popular northern suburb of Leeds, West Yorkshire. The home is registered to provide care to 74 residents with a variety of needs, including residential, nursing, and dementia care. It reflects the New Care vision of providing the highest standards of safety, comfort, and care. We invest in the latest technology and offer a purposeful programme of daily activities and gentle exercise to enhance the experience, care, and wellbeing of our residents. All team members are carefully selected for their warmth and passion, undergo a full induction, and receive ongoing training from our in-house trainers in conjunction with the New Care Academy. New Care has maintained zero agency usage for over 4 years, employing a permanent staff team to ensure continuity of care with staff who know and residents who trust them. Across New Care, all staff are paid the national living wage or above.
We are seeking to appoint a kind, caring, and organised Hospitality Assistant to join our team. The role involves ensuring residents and visitors receive efficient food service, maintaining a clean environment within the dining room, and serving at all times. We offer a full-time contract with an excellent hourly rate of £11.44. Shift times are 08:00-19:00, with alternate weekends working.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Ensure a high standard of hospitality service is provided.
2. Support and assist visitors.
3. Inform the Chef of any individual requirements of residents.
4. Follow cleaning schedules and procedures, as per company HACCP standards.
5. Adhere to all training provided.
6. Ensure records and reports are properly written and maintained.
7. Promote safeguarding and the welfare of adults the post holder is responsible for or comes into contact with.
Skills and Experience Required:
1. Hospitality or catering experience is desirable.
2. Previous experience working in a care setting is desirable.
3. Effective communication skills to interact with team members.
4. Willingness to participate in activities organised in the Home.
