Job Title: Cover Supervisor (CS)

Pay Rate: £90 – £120 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are seeking a reliable Cover Supervisor to work across schools in Doncaster. As a CS, this role is perfect for those who enjoy working with students, maintaining a positive classroom environment, and ensuring continuity of learning during teacher absences.
Responsibilities as a Cover Supervisor:
* Supervise classes in the absence of teaching staff, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment.
* Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials to pupils across various subjects.
* Maintain classroom discipline and encourage positive behaviour.
* Support students’ engagement and progress during lessons.
* Provide feedback to teaching staff regarding pupil participation and lesson outcomes.
Requirements for Cover Supervisor:
* Previous experience working with children in a school setting is desirable but not essential.
* Strong communication and classroom management skills.
* Confidence to manage a class and deliver pre-prepared lessons.
* Flexible, proactive, and adaptable approach to working in different school environments.
* A valid, enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
* A CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, with any gaps explained.
