GSL Education are currently looking to appoint a caring and qualified Early Years Practitioner to join a friendly and supportive nursery or Early Years classroom in Rotherham. This role as an EYP is ideal for someone with a genuine passion for early childhood education and a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years.
Responsibilities as an Early Years Practitioner :
Supporting the learning and development of early aged children.
Assisting with planning and delivering creative, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
Promoting a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment.
Monitoring progress and contributing to children's learning journeys.
Collaborating with teachers, parents, and carers to support individual needs.
Encouraging children’s social, emotional, and communication skills.
Requirements for Early Years Practitioner:
A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years Education (Essential).
Experience in a nursery or Early Years classroom setting.
A warm, nurturing, and patient personality.
Strong understanding of child development and safeguarding practices.
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
A CV covering the last 10 years with any gaps clearly explained.
