*Job Summary*
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Drums Teacher to join our music education team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in piano performance and pedagogy, with the ability to inspire students of all ages and skill levels. This role involves providing individual and group lessons, fostering a love for music, and helping students achieve their musical goals.
*Duties*
* Conduct individual drums lessons tailored to the needs and abilities of each student.
* Develop lesson plans that incorporate various teaching methods, music theory, and repertoire selection.
* Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement.
* Create a positive and engaging learning environment that fosters creativity and self-expression.
* Prepare students for performances, exams, or competitions as required.
* Maintain open communication with students and their families regarding progress and any concerns.
* Stay updated on new teaching techniques, resources, and trends in music education.
*Qualifications*
* Proven experience as a drum teacher or performer with a strong understanding of music theory.
* Proficiency in playing the drum across various genres.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with students of diverse backgrounds.
* Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for teaching music.
* A degree in Music Education or a related field is preferred but not essential.
* Previous experience working with children or young adults is advantageous.
