Location & Working Hours
Location: Preston – Hybrid 2‑3 days per week on site.
Hours of work: 37‑40 hours per week.
Role
Work within the project team to provide support in controlling the cost elements of the project. Core requirements include the production of Estimate at Completion (EACs) based on the cost to date and a forecast of the cost to complete along with managing the project invoicing ensuring these are raised and cash collected in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
* Apply project controls processes and procedures.
* Regular interfacing and integration with the planning team to maintain an aligned financial position with the programme.
* Drive solutions that optimise quality cost reporting.
* Attend project meetings to maintain knowledge of project status.
* Development and maintenance of cost collection structures in SAP.
* Monitoring of costs incurred and ensuring correct cost allocation.
* Project cost forecasting.
* Revenue and gross margin monitoring and reporting.
* Ensuring corporate systems are up to date and an accurate reflection of the project.
Qualifications / Experience
* Experienced with cost management systems such as Oracle, SAP or equivalent.
* Experience of working within a project delivery environment.
* Experience across all stages of the project life cycle.
* Experience of working within NEC Projects.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office in particular; Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Security Level
UK – Able to gain UKSC clearance.
