We’re on the lookout for a Maintenance Engineer to take up a permanent position working in Barnstaple, North Devon.

What tasks does this role include?
5. Ensure that the range of manufacturing machinery is running efficiently within the factory
6. Installation of production and plant equipment
7. Assist with scheduled maintenance of machinery and equipment.
8. Assist with other mechanical/electrical and operational departments when required.
9. Adhere to health, safety, and environmental procedures.
10. Produce concise and accurate reports
11. Adhere to Health and Safety policies and procedures
What will you bring to the role?
12. Electrical/mechanical engineering experience
13. Experience working within an engineering team
14. Recognised qualification in either electrical or mechanical engineering
15. Working knowledge of Electrical safety systems.
16. Trained in IEE Wiring Regulations – 18th Edition, C&G 2391 Inspection and Testing (Desirable)
17. Training & in-depth knowledge in Electricity at Work Regulations.
18. Great communication skills as you will need to communicate with people at all levels
19. Have a positive and flexible attitude.
20. Be able to use your own initiative.
21. Be able to work alone and as part of a team.
22. A desire and willingness to grow, learn and develop in the job.
