Responsibilities
* Ownership of the end to end banking process, working with stakeholders across Finance and Treasury to ensure accurate accounting for the Group’s banking transactions and associated intercompany cash flows
* Own the associated balance sheet reconciliations ensuring high quality support is in place and support monthly balance sheet and analysis
* Ensure banking and intercompany accounting processes are adapted in line with changes in funding structures or subsidiary structures
* Ensure all deliverables adhere to the Financial Control Framework and contribute to the delivery of continuous process and control improvements for assigned areas of responsibility
Essential qualifications
* Experience of internal Finance processes, including month end procedures and balance sheet reconciliations, as well as journal processing
* Strong attention to detail, problem solving skills and ability to analyse and investigate discrepancies in large volumes of numerical data
* Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
* Experience of accounting for banking and intercompany processes
* Experience in use of finance systems (Sun GL, Infor Q&A)
Desirable
* Part qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
* Experience in use of finance systems (Sun GL, Infor Q&A)
