Education and Qualifications
* Registered Nurse
* Post registration nursing course in speciality
* Recognised teaching qualification
* Degree or ability to think and practice at degree level with extensive experience
Experience – Essential
* Substantial experience at Band 6 level
* People management experience
* Effective clinical leadership and experience in the management of change
* Experience of working effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
* Experience of formal and informal teaching
* Ability to recognise when help or escalation is needed
Experience – Desirable
* Recent experience of data collection and audit
Skills and Knowledge – Essential
* Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
* Sound knowledge of the principles and practice of specialist care
