Multi Skilled Operative Sittingbourne DS Smith has an excellent opportunity for a Multi Skilled Operative to join a busy, professional team of Operatives managing the recycling materials within a warehouse environment. The role will be based at Kemsley Depot To succeed in this role you will need to complete all work safely and to Company standards. To assist in the production activity of the depot including unloading, sorting, processing and loading products handled. To drive mobile plant when to assist production. To operate various processing machinery as required. To meet Company requirements for maintenance and housekeeping and adhere to safe systems of work at all times What we would like our candidate to have: Numeracy & Literacy Skills Interpersonal Skills, ability to communicate both orally and in written form Ability to work on own and /or with minimum supervision Be able to make decisions, meet targets and work under pressure Knowledge of Health & Safety and understanding of the importance of H&S in the workplace Ability to read instruction and keep records of work.
