To lead, develop, co-ordinate and implement a safe and effective specialised clinical pharmacy service to a specific or general patient population, including prescribing as an independent prescriber. To manage and provide leadership to identified pharmacists and technicians in the HSCP. Provision of professional and highly specialist prescribing advice to the extended Primary Care team

What we'll need you to bring
1. Masters Degree of Pharmacy or equivalent
2. Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (1 year pre-registration practice and competency assessment with examination to enter the register)
3. Relevant Post Graduate pharmacy qualification (or equivalent) or equivalent specialist knowledge gained through experience obtained in a primary care or a clinical setting
4. Independent prescriber or already undertaking the course
5. Professional, leadership and managerial experience within speciality / area of practice that demonstrates the required breadth of knowledge required to lead safety, effectively and efficiently
6. Demonstrate competence as a clinical practitioner in a multidisciplinary environment
7. Demonstrable evidence of influencing other members of the multidisciplinary team in delivering patient care
8. Knowledge and understanding of clinical pharmacy practice
9. Knowledge of legislation and guidance relating to medicines use
10. Maintains a broad level of pharmacy practice
11. Management knowledge gained through experience and continuous professional development
12. Demonstrable ability to process and use complex information to improve patient outcomes
13. Required to demonstrate a highly specialised clinical pharmacy knowledge, skills clinical reasoning and judgement
14. Proven negotiation skills and ability to motivate and influence others to address and improve a variety of prescribing issues
15. A proven track record in sound and effective leadership. Ability to think strategically, corporately and act as a team player
16. Ability to work autonomously and evaluate own work
17. Ability to prioritise workload
18. Ability to apply logic and analytical skills to manage clinical risk
19. Ability to work quickly, accurately and to deadlines
20. Car driver with access to a car and a full, valid UK/EU/EEA licence
