Description
As the General Manager you will,
- Be a visible leader within the operation driving performance and actively supporting the team to develop robust SOPs, to enable consistent delivery of service levels
- Manage and mentor a team highlighting training needs and creating a succession plan
- Continue to develop a positive culture which supports high performance in all areas (HSE, quality, pick rate)
- Work with other sites and Transport to balance capacity, resource, and optimise volumes through the site
- Manage budgets and resource allocation to achieve financial objectives.
Profile
A successful General Manager should have:
- A proven track record in managing a busy, high volume warehouse operation
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills to guide teams effectively, building engagement and performance
- A visible leader in the warehouse
- Analytical skills to assess performance metrics and drive improvements.
- Proficiency in budget management and resource planning.
Job Offer
- Competitive salary ranging from £75,000 to £80,000 + package
