As Head of English, you will set the strategic direction for the department, ensuring excellence in teaching and learning across all key stages. You'll be responsible for curriculum development, staff coaching and mentoring, assessment oversight, and promoting innovation in lesson delivery. Key Responsibilities

Qualifications and Experience
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and degree in English or related subject
* Proven success in teaching English at secondary level, with strong exam results
* Previous middle or senior leadership experience in a school setting
* Excellent knowledge of curriculum, assessment, and pedagogy in English
* Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to inspire and develop colleagues
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
