Key Responsibilities: Assess and support Mainstream, Kinship Foster Carers, and Special Guardians
Deliver high-quality training and assessments for prospective foster carers
Uphold the Fostering National Minimum Standards across all practice
Contribute to the wellbeing and stability of children in care
Collaborate with co-located childrens services teams to enhance joint working
Promote the voice of foster carers through reflective practice and supervision
Maintain accurate, insightful reports and assessments
Participate in a comprehensive induction and ongoing professional development
Requirements: Qualified Social Worker with post-qualifying experience in statutory social care
Strong assessment and report writing capabilities
Knowledge of fostering frameworks and national standards
Ability to work restoratively and collaboratively within a team
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Commitment to safeguarding and improving outcomes for children
Confidence in training delivery and carer engagement
Adaptability and emotional resilience in a dynamic environment
