Our talented engineers in the Enforcement Support Team are dedicated to delivering bespoke solutions to address Civil and Criminal traffic violations, such as Clean Air Zones, Average Speed, and Bus Lane enforcement. As a 1st Line Support Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of our Digital Enforcement Solutions. Key Responsibilities: * Act as the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional telephone support and resolving issues promptly. * Perform first-line fault finding and investigations to diagnose and address system problems. * Utilize the InView Fault Management system to log issues, track progress, and communicate updates to affected clients. * Generate and analyze system performance reports to proactively identify areas for optimization. * Participate in ongoing training to stay up-to-date with the latest equipment and systems, including both formal and informal learning opportunities. * Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as required, ensuring the smooth operation of the enforcement support team. The Ideal Candidate: * A strong interest or background in PC hardware and software, with experience in fault finding, diagnosing, and repairing technical issues. * A keen desire to learn about bespoke and technical systems, with a proactive and results-driven approach to tasks. * A working knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and basic networking principles. * Able to work independently or as part of a team, with excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients. * A structured and hands-on approach to problem-solving, with an eye for detail. * Desirable: An understanding of SQL and the ability to create queries for data manipulation and retrieval
