Quality Engineer - Aviation component maintenance. New opportunity for a quality engineer with a strong understanding of EASA Part 145 regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the effectiveness of the Quality System within a component maintenance environment. Your main duties will include:
* Conducting scheduled internal and external audits and inspections.
* Ensuring the independence of the Quality Departments to comply with EASA Part 145 regulations.
* Managing the Maintenance Occurrence Reporting (MOR) and Incident Occurrence Reporting (IOR) schemes.
* Staying updated on the latest EASA Part 145 regulations and Safety Management Systems (SMS) for risk-based management.
* Overseeing the day-to-day administration and control of the quality department and audit programme.
* Administering company manuals and the company authorisation system in line with legislation.
* Investigating and preparing reports on quality, technical, and maintenance issues using the MEDA methodology.
* Managing Non-Conformance's and engaging in negotiations with manufacturers/vendors on quality matters related to the maintenance of customer aircraft.
Qualifications & Prerequisites:
To be considered for this role, you should possess:
* Experience in an airline, maintenance, or quality safety environment.
* Demonstrable ability to conduct audits effectively.
* Solid understanding of EASA Part 145 regulations.
* Familiarity with Q Pulse Quality Management Software.
