HomeServe UK is inviting applications for a Water Supply Pipe Support Engineer in Bristol. This is a directly employed, full‑time role (40 hours per week) that may include weekend, evening and bank holiday work.

* Salary: £29,200 per annum plus a £1,500 guaranteed bonus in the first year

About the Role
As a Water Supply Pipe Support Engineer, you will assist with the maintenance and repair work of water supply and drainage systems in customers’ homes. You will provide industry‑leading service, support customer growth, and work with engineers to execute a range of plumbing tasks efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
* Assist in repairs, laying, and identifying leaks on water mains and drainage services
* Reinstatement of excavations across a variety of surface types
* Apply safe digging practices and comply with health & safety regulations
* Interact with customers to provide excellent service and maintain a positive brand experience
* Maintain accuracy and use problem‑solving skills to resolve field issues swiftly
* Partner with field‑based coaches and peers to support continuous learning and development
Qualifications
* Experience assisting with repairs, laying pipelines, and leak identification, preferably in similar environments
* Knowledge of safe digging practices
* Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
* Excellent customer service aptitude in a customer‑facing role
* Proactive, “can‑do” attitude with a keen eye for detail
* Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks in all‑weather conditions
* Adaptable team player capable of working with different teammates regularly
Training & Support
* Week 1 – Head Office induction in Walsall covering HomeServe culture, health & safety, tools and equipment
* Week 2 – Buddy programme with an experienced HomeServe Engineer to support ongoing learning
* Accommodation and meal allowance provided during induction where geographically appropriate
