About the Role
We are looking forcompassionate and resilient Residential Support Worker's to support children and young people aged 618 within a nurturing residential setting. The young people we support may present with challenging behaviours and a range of additional needs, including ADHD, autism and global developmental disorders.
This role requires someone who can provide consistent, trauma-informed care while building strong, positive relationships. You will play a vital role in creating a safe, structuredand supportive environment where each young person can develop, growand achieve their potential.
Key Responsibilities
* Build meaningful and trusting relationships with children and young people
* Support daily routines, including mornings, education, activitiesand evening routines
* Promote independence, social skillsand emotional wellbeing
* Engage young people in activities and positive experiences
* Respond calmly and effectively to challenging behaviours
* Work as part of a team to provide consistent, high-quality care
* Support children with additional needs including ADHD, autism and developmental delays
Shift Patterns
* 7:00am 10:00pm shifts
* Sleep-in shifts available
* Weekend working is required
