Managing a team of 5, you will be working to achieve ambitious growth plans, managing an effective sales process and nurturing your team to achieve KPIs and targets.
The successful candidate will have a sales Management background, an excellent sales process and strong leadership and communication skills.
You must be able to travel into Birmingham City Centre 2 days per week.
Responsibilities & day to day duties
As a Sales Manager you will be responsible for:
1. Lead and support Strategic Account Executives to exceed annual sales margin targets.
2. Develop and deliver a robust sales strategy and detailed forecasting plan.
3. Analyse KPIs and market trends to uncover opportunities and mitigate risks.
4. Provide commercial insight on pricing, products, and sales performance.
5. Improve and embed processes via CRM enhancements and SOPs.
6. Guide your team through the full sales cycle—from lead to onboarding.
7. Oversee customer forecasting, working with internal and external stakeholders.
8. Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing team in line with HR policies.
9. Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Commercial, and Trading teams.
