The Warranty & Helpdesk Engineer will be responsible for proactive technical assessment of claims, settling these claims with dealers & customers promptly, and providing first-class support for TWS equipment. You will also be the appointed person for lift plans where required.
What you’ll do
* Process warranty claims for Terex Washing Systems.
* Gather relevant claim data, prepare summaries, and propose settlements.
* Settle claims in line with warranty policy and ensure timely credit runs.
* Coordinate with engineers, quality, and service technicians.
* Handle queries from dealers and customers via calls, emails, and portals.
* Train internal staff and dealer network on warranty systems and processes.
* Recover costs from suppliers and manage parts returns.
* Raise concerns to Internal Quality Council.
* Advise Technical and Parts Helpdesk on warranty issues.
* Provide warranty updates to Finance during weekly calls.
* Identify alternative technologies to resolve field issues and improve current equipment.
* Support dealer networks and customers to ensure satisfaction.
* Maintain product safety, functionality, reliability, and serviceability.
* Complete lift plans as appointed; some travel required.
What you’ll bring
* Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
* At least 3 years of technical experience.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
* Strong communication skills across all business levels.
* Qualified Appointed Person or willing to attain within 6 months.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Creative and innovative thinking.
* Knowledge of Washing equipment and warranty portals.
* Experience in administration.
