Autodesk's AI Lab is active in the wider research community, targeting publications atNeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, and other top-tier conferences. We collaborate with top academic and industry labs, combining the best of an academic environment with product-driven research.
This role may work remote or in-person at one of the offices in San Francisco, Toronto, or London during the entirety of the internship.
Responsibilities
* Managing your project end-to-end, working on machine learning research applied to design
* Partner with different teams to solve important problems across the Autodesk organization
Minimum Qualifications
* Must be currently enrolled in a full-time, MS or Ph.D degree seeking program with a focus in Computer Science, Computational Design, Graphics, Machine Learning or related field
* Knowledge of machine learning and deep learning
* Strong CS Fundamentals (Python)
* Exposure to ML & DL platforms and libraries (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Pytorch Lightening)
* Experience conducting research and publishing results
Preferred Qualifications
* Expertise in an area such as computer vision, 2D/3D geometry representation learning, reinforcement learning, graph neural networks, unsupervised/self-supervised learning, meta-learning, or generative models.
* Knowledge of 3D computer graphics, computational geometry, and 3D geometry manipulation
* Experience with CAD
