\nThe successful candidate will handle a variety of contentious criminal law cases and prosecutions, providing court advocacy and legal advice to a diverse client base on complex and sensitive matters

\n• Following an initial training period, a typical working week will see you spending most of your time in court, prosecuting a broad spectrum of offences and applying your diverse skills to secure effective outcomes. The remaining time will be dedicated to preparing cases.

\n• You will receive thorough induction training, tailored learning modules, dedicated mentoring, and practical coaching to support your transition into the role — ideal for lawyers considering a career change. While experience in contentious law is advantageous, the position is open to candidates from all legal backgrounds who are eager to learn and retrain.

\n• Applications are welcomed from qualified Solicitors and Barristers that currently hold a valid practising certificate in England and Wales, that have resided in the UK for at least five years.

\n• You should have excellent verbal and written communication, along with the ability to deliver well-reasoned judgments and demonstrate strong decision-making skills.
