Crown Garage Limited are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Service Manager to lead our service department. We're looking for an individual with strong leadership abilities, excellent customer service skills, and a deep understanding of automotive repair and maintenance operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Operational Management: Oversee all daily operations of the service department, including scheduling, workflow, and quality control. Ensure the team meets and exceeds performance targets for customer satisfaction, productivity, and profitability.
* Team Leadership: Lead, train, and mentor a team of service advisors, technicians, and other support staff. Conduct performance reviews, manage staff development, and foster a positive and productive work environment.
* Customer Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for customer escalations and complex service issues. Ensure all customer inquiries and complaints are handled professionally and efficiently, maintaining Crown Garage's reputation for exceptional service.
* Financial Oversight: Manage the department's budget, control costs, and analyze financial reports to identify areas for improvement. Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability.
* Quality Assurance: Ensure all work performed meets the highest standards of quality and safety. Implement and enforce dealership and manufacturer guidelines and procedures.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Service Manager or in a similar leadership role within the automotive industry.
* Strong technical knowledge of vehicle systems and repair procedures.
* Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in dealership management software (DMS) and other relevant technology.
* A valid driver's license.
