Senior Salmon are working with a food manufacturer in Shirebrook and we are looking for a shift Supervisor / Team leader to join their expanding team.
The Team Leader is responsible for leading a food production team on shift to deliver safe, efficient and high-quality output in line with daily targets. The role combines hands-on/working shop-floor leadership with strong food safety, hygiene and quality standards, acting as the link between operatives and management while ensuring compliance with site procedures and customer requirements.
Normal working hours: Monday to Thursday, 14:00 22:30 (Friday, 13:30 22:00)

Operational & Production Responsibilities
Inspect, receive, and store raw materials in line with company procedures.
Identify, report, and communicate any raw material or packaging issues promptly.
Safely store and load finished goods in a timely manner.
Operate, clean, and maintain machinery to pre-determined efficiency and output targets, ensuring operational safety at all times.
Produce stock to agreed output rates and quality standards.
Lead, motivate and organise a team of operatives to achieve daily production targets in a food manufacturing environment.
Ensure all activities are carried out in line with food safety, hygiene, GMP, HACCP, allergen control and health and safety requirements.
