Every moment counts. Every memory matters. Come and join our nursing team as a Team nurse and provide exceptional care and support to children with life limiting and life threatening conditions.
Responsibilities
As a Team nurse you will be responsible for the delivery of high quality clinical nursing care to meet the diverse individual needs of the children and young people.
You will have experience in clinical nursing assessment, planning and delivering care which will be evidence based in conjunction with Julias House policies and procedures to deliver safe care to children and young people with complex needs that will often change. Also the confidence to use your clinical judgement and make autonomous decisions about nursing care requirements.
Team Nurses participate in our on call rota system providing telephone advice for staff and families. You will have day-to-day management of the client base, including the deployment, supervision and teaching of Care Team members.
You will also have the opportunity to broaden your skills with excellent training and development.

When a family finds out that their child has a very serious medical condition, which is life-limiting or life-threatening, their world falls apart.
