Your Key Responsibilities
* Pre-assembly, pairing of rings, rolling elements and cages
* Review and print off Assembly routers through SAP, required drawings and Assembly lists
* Measure / document raceway sizes, create inventory labels using applicable software
* Perform raceway width and split inner ring verifications using required measuring equipment
* Issue raceway sizes for mating components in production to ensure proper bearing clearances are met.
* Set up and operate all part/component washing equipment as required.
* Perform advanced problem solving and troubleshoot to resolve production/process issues to meet required standards.
* Responsible for quality and quantity of work produced by process. Monitor production process according to maintenance schedule and perform routine maintenance in timely manner.
* Required to perform inspection on own work usingprecision measuring equipment as provided or directed to assess quality of work.
* Follow and accurately record data as directed or required in routers, IMS and any other production tracking systems.
* Required to train other operators as needed.
* Ability to read and interpret production prints.
* Requires adequate computer skills to access production procedures to perform the required work.
Your Qualifications
* Education: Grade 12 diploma
* Experience: Demonstrated competency at Assembler level
* Skills: Knowledge of production and quality systems
