Position: Nursery Manager
Location: Poulton-le-Fylde

Qualifications: Level 3 Early Years qualification, Paediatric First Aid certificate.
Randstad Education is looking for a dynamic, qualified professional to step into the role of Nursery Manager. This is a full time permanent position and you will be required to support five days a week Monday - Friday inline with school hours.

Responsibilities:
* Oversee day-to-day nursery running and ensure strict Ofsted compliance.
* Manage, mentor, and inspire staff while fostering a collaborative team.
* Act as DSL to maintain a safe, nurturing environment for all children.
* Oversee EYFS implementation to provide engaging, high-quality learning.
* Build strong, trusting partnerships with parents and the local community.
* Liaise with admin and finance teams to manage occupancy and budgets
Preferred skills:
* Deep knowledge of child development, EYFS, and Ofsted requirements.
* Proven ability to motivate, lead, and develop a diverse staff.
* Highly organised in managing schedules, rotas, and daily occupancy.
* Paediatric First Aid certified with calm crisis-management skills.
* Strong communication skills to handle sensitive conversations diplomatically.
* Basic understanding of budgeting and nursery resource management.
* At least 2 years of post-qualification experience in a leadership role.
* Must be DSL (Designated Safeguarding Lead) qualified and hold a
* Current Paediatric First Aid certificate.
