Job Title: Multi-Trade Operative Location: Nottingham and surrounding areas Job Type: 7 months Salary: Competitive, depending on experience Daniel Owen is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established contractor carrying out legal repairs on social housing properties within Nottingham. We are seeking experienced and professional Multi-Trade Operatives to join the team, working in a customer-facing role within occupied residential properties. This is not your average construction role - our client places strong emphasis on quality, customer service, and professionalism. You'll be a key part of ensuring that customers receive the highest standard of service in their homes. Role Responsibilities: Acting as the primary point of contact for customers in their homes Carrying out a variety of remedial works to a high standard Diagnosing and fixing issues directly or coordinating with the office and specialist trades Ensuring work is completed promptly, professionally, and with minimal disruption Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe working environment Representing the company with courtesy, punctuality, and professionalism at all times Required Skills & Experience: Proven experience in a multi-trade role or general construction Strong background in one or more of the following: General building Carpentry Plaster patching Painting Ceramic tiling Heating & plumbing (desirable but not essential) Excellent communication and customer service skills Able to problem-solve and work independently Reliable, well-presented, and respectful when working in occupied homes This is a fantastic opportunity for tradespeople who take pride in their work and are passionate about delivering outstanding service.
