Claims Quantity Surveyor (Freelance) – Outside IR35 | London | 9 Months
We’re looking for an experienced Claims Quantity Surveyor to support a major project, focusing on the preparation, management, and negotiation of claims to protect the Contractor’s commercial position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and assess potential claims and contractual risks
• Prepare and submit claims for variations, cost, and extensions of time
• Review and manage subcontractor claims (downstream & upstream)
• Quantify and substantiate claims with robust supporting evidence
• Support negotiations and dispute resolution processes
• Provide strategic advice on contracts, risk, and claims
About You:
• Proven experience in a claims-focused QS role
• Strong understanding of contract law and dispute resolution
• Excellent commercial awareness and stakeholder management
• Strong analytical and communication skills
