We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Core Subjects Teacher to provide tailored tuition in Warsop and across the wider Nottinghamshire area.
This rewarding role allows you to support students outside the classroom, delivering engaging lessons in maths, English, and science. You\'ll adapt teaching to meet individual needs, building confidence and preparing students for success at every stage of learning.
Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality tuition in core subjects (1:1 or small groups)
* Adapt lessons to suit a variety of learning styles and abilities
* Break down challenging topics to improve understanding and confidence
* Provide constructive feedback after each session
* Uphold safeguarding and child protection policies
Qualifications
* Strong knowledge of the national curriculum (KS2-KS4, ideally GCSE)
* Experience supporting students with SEND and/or SEMH needs
* Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills
* A patient, empathetic, and flexible teaching style
* Up-to-date safeguarding training
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
