About The Role
As a Deputy Home Manager, you’ll ensure the clinical care provided exceeds professional standards and complies with statutory, regulatory, and legal requirements. Your responsibilities include providing specialist nursing support and advice, taking charge of resident care in the Home Manager’s absence, and supervising colleagues to deliver empathetic, resident-centered care.
About You
HC-One seeks a Deputy Home Manager with a valid NMC Pin, knowledge of National Standards, and familiarity with the NMC code of practice. Experience in person-centred care planning within a care home setting is essential. We value your positive energy, ability to mentor, manage time effectively, and maintain meaningful records. Your communication style should be considerate and kind, especially when engaging with residents and colleagues.
You should value kindness above all, as it is central to our approach in Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Every team member understands that residents are individuals with unique stories, and by joining HC-One, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in their lives.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You must be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect, and know how to respond appropriately. Attendance at safeguarding training is mandatory, and you should be able to seek advice and escalate concerns when necessary.
