* Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable server‑side applications and APIs
* Develop and optimise database structures to ensure fast, reliable data access
* Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and AI teams to enhance product functionality
* Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and improve system efficiency
* Integrate third‑party services while maintaining reliability and security
The Successful Applicant
* 4 years' backend development experience with strong proficiency in Python
* At least 2 years' experience working with AI-assisted tools
* Clear communicator able to explain technical concepts to non‑technical teams
* Bonus: exposure to full‑stack development, SRE/DevOps, or AI‑powered products
