Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join welcoming and supportive schools in the Macclesfield area. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are passionate about delivering high-quality education and making a positive impact on young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all pupils
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of learners
Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and parents
Contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular activities where appropriate
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching in a primary school setting (preferred but not essential for ECTs)
Strong classroom management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
