Located on the edge of the Lake District National Park, Furness College is a vibrant, innovative and fast-paced FE College, benefiting from strong partnerships with local employers and universities. We offer an extensive range of courses with a particular emphasis on technical learning, apprenticeships and Higher Education, in addition to the broadest A’ level offer in Cumbria. Finance Administrator We currently have a vacancy for a conscientious Administrator to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will have experience in a treasury or finance role, will be proficient in financial software and excel, and will have strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail. The post holder will assist with month end preparation and ledger processes, distributing monthly budget reports, processing financial journals, processing supplier invoices and many other finance administration tasks that support the wider team and our overall function. Salary: £24,646 - £25,416 per annum DOE Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week Tenure: Permanent Annual Leave: 30 days, plus bank holidays and Christmas closure Closing Date: 26/10/2025 Interview Date: TBC What we can offer you Enhanced occupational pension scheme.
