About the Role:
Were recruiting on behalf of a leading professional services organisation seeking an experienced Senior HR Business Partner to join their team on an 18-month fixed-term contract.
This is a strategic and commercially focused role, partnering with senior leaders across a complex corporate division and multiple specialist business areas. You will play a key role in driving the people agenda, supporting organisational performance, and influencing decision-making at a senior level.
The successful individual will be a credible and confident HR professional who can build strong stakeholder relationships while also being willing to challenge constructively when required. Whilst this role is initially offered as a fixed-term contract, there is potential for longer-term opportunities as the organisation continues to evolve.
Key Responsibilities:
* Partner with senior leaders to deliver strategic and operational HR support across multiple business areas
* Provide expert advice and guidance on organisational design, workforce planning, talent management, and employee relations
* Influence and support business leaders in driving performance, engagement, and capability development
* Challenge and support stakeholders to ensure people decisions align with business objectives
* Lead and support complex people initiatives and change programmes
* Utilise people data and insights to support decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement
* Support succession planning, talent development, and leadership capability programmes
* Ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal policies
* Build strong relationships across the wider HR function to deliver a seamless people experience
* Contribute to wider people strategy initiatives and continuous improvement projects
Candidate Profile:
* Proven experience operating as an HR Business Partner within a complex, matrix-style organisation
* Strong experience supporting senior stakeholders within professional services, legal, financial services, consulting, or similarly complex environments
* Excellent understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice
* Demonstrated experience managing organisational change, workforce planning, and employee relations matters
* Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to influence and challenge at senior levels
* Commercially minded with the ability to align people strategies to business objectives
* Data-driven approach with experience using people analytics to inform decisions
* Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment
* Professional services or legal sector experience would be highly advantageous
