The Role
Our Ford client has undergone transformative shift in its marketing activities, transitioning from predominantly ATL brand (and award winning) approaches, to a dynamic, performance-led strategy directly aimed at boosting sales figures.
This role presents a unique chance to engage in one of the most integrated client-agency relationships in the UK, offering an immersive experience with the client’s business.
WPP Team Ford – spans across media, data, CX and insights. You’ll play a pivotal role in enabling performance by delivering creative campaigns.
If your expertise lies in campaign delivery and delivering client business growth, this role presents a unique career defining and potentially award-winning opportunity for IPA Effectiveness.
* The Account Director is responsible for the delivery of all creative campaigns for Ford of Britain and Ford of Ireland.
* This includes working with the integrated Media teams to ensure that all assets are delivered on time.
* Responsible for the localisation of central activity to deliver against local media plans.
* Responsible for the delivery of all local campaigns across multiple channels (Digital, OOH, TV, Radio etc).
* You will work in partnership with CRM Specialist and Performance Manager to ensure all Performance activity is supported by their areas.
* You will work alongside the Business Director and Creative Director to ensure all ideas are activated and delivered.
* You will work with the Ford central teams to ensure local activity is supported and local activity is compliant with legal and governance rules.
* You will work with multiple WPP agencies to aid in orchestrating the delivery of core campaigns across Commercial Vehicles (Including Hogarth and other WPP hubs)
Key Tasks
* Review of all central campaigns and providing recommendations on local activation.
* Identification of local requirements and developing these.
* Managing any partner relationships to ensure the delivery of assets to these campaigns.
* Interfacing with the Ford team to agree activity objectives, priorities, and timelines.
* Management of timelines and working with Production Hubs to ensure smooth delivery of activity.
* Understanding of media plans and working closely with the media teams to ensure smooth delivery of these campaigns.
Requirements
* Proven experience in campaign delivery and a desire to lean into the Performance Marketing mindset.
* A strong understanding of marketing agency capabilities.
* Strong project management skills to ensure campaigns are delivered on time.
* Excellent client delivery skills to imbed a seamless client-agency relationship.
* Excellent team building skills
* MUST be able to work in Essex (Dunton) twice a week and in central London twice a week.
