About The Role

We are excited to announce an exciting and rare opportunity for a Head of Art to join our team at The Victory Academy. As Head of Art you will lead by example, develop, inspire and motivate your team and be committed to achieving high standards. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about embracing new ideas, demonstrates a positive attitude, and possesses excellent interpersonal skills.

Our Head of Art will have experience of teaching and leading across the subject area, with a proven background of achieving successful outcomes. The role will encompass the leadership and management of all aspects of the curriculum, as well as monitoring the quality and consistency of provision.

As Head of Department, you will develop comprehensive programmes of study, creating resources, designing schemes of work, and implementing effective assessment and teaching strategies, to ensure relevance to the needs of pupils, examining and awarding bodies and the Academy’s Aims and Development Plan objectives.
