About the Role:
This role involves planning, coordinating, mentoring, and supporting training and assessment for apprentices in the Early Years Education sector from level 2 to level 5, including Teaching Assistant roles. You will share your knowledge and experience to help apprentices achieve their qualifications efficiently and to a high standard.
Job Responsibilities
Assessment:
* Conduct skills reviews with apprentices and employers to identify gaps.
* Develop and implement individualized training plans.
* Maintain candidate records and perform workplace observations.
* Deliver high-quality training, including functional skills, meeting awarding body standards.
* Assess skills and behaviors, providing feedback via the ePortfolio system.
Training:
* Create tailored action plans for candidates.
* Deliver workplace training covering Knowledge, Skills, and Behaviors.
* Support English and Maths training for successful completion.
* Provide tutorial support on Prevent, British Values, Personal Development, Behavior, Welfare, Safeguarding, and additional learning needs.
* Conduct remote webinars for apprentices.
* Train on topics like British Values, Prevent, mental health, well-being, career guidance, and safety.
Coordination and Support:
* Monitor progress and support portfolio completion and assessments.
* Record and report on Additional Learning Support (ALS).
* Provide program information to employers and employees.
* Collaborate with line managers for reviews and appraisals.
* Manage start-up packs and evidence bases for apprentices.
* Attend CPD, standardization events, and conferences in Bristol.
* Support apprentices and employers in the End Point Assessment process.
Administration:
* Complete documentation for new candidates and track progress.
* Maintain records of progress against targets.
* Document employer visits, reviews, assessments, and appointments.
* Ensure timely achievement and complete Gateway and End Point Assessment documentation.

* Qualification or experience in the subject area
* Up-to-date industry knowledge
* Level 2 Numeracy and Literacy qualifications
* Experience working with employers in training or customer relations
* Ability to develop strong relationships with employers and learners
* Strong IT skills and willingness to work with e-portfolios
* Motivated to motivate learners and ensure timely completion
* Full driving license, own vehicle, and willingness to travel
* High motivation and initiative

* Assessor qualification
* Relevant degree
* IV/IQA qualification
* Experience in Further Education or similar environment
* Early Years Advanced Practitioner or Management experience
