Operations Associate, Core Operations - Ratings Desk : Manchester
Fitch Ratings’ Global Core Operations team is currently seeking an Operations Associate to join our Ratings Desk team in our Manchester Office.
Candidate will work closely with Fitch analytical teams, Operations, IT and others to disseminate high quality, accurate content to the media and public on a timely basis, as well as minimizing operational risk by establishing, maintaining and enforcing policies, procedures and controls with respect to Fitch’s publishing processes.

We’ll Count on You To:
5. Assist with day-to-day support and quality assurance for the ratings publishing workflow processes
6. Promote an overall understanding of compliance requirements, and related policies and procedures
7. Input data related to bonds, ISIN, CUSIP, Loan X and ratings using proprietary applications and databases
8. Assist with internal support applications, and data and ratings input and verification
9. Review rating letters for accuracy
10. Provide daily and ad-hoc support to analysts, Client Services and other Operations teams
11. Source bond documentation using third-party providers
12. Participate in various projects, including training new team members on the use of tools/applications
13. Work collaboratively with various Ratings teams
14. Identify and recommend enhancements to current procedures, applications, and training, to provide the highest quality customer-service support
What You Need to Have:
15. High school diploma/ bachelor's degree with finance background or equivalent work experience at a financial services organization preferred
16. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
17. Quick learner with excellent attention to detail
18. Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team environment
19. Ability to work well under pressure deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously
20. Highly motivated, flexible, proactive, and adaptable to change
21. Proficiency in Excel and Word

25. Experience in data management and fixed income knowledge is a plus (Bloomberg, CUSIP, ISIN, LoanX)
