Connect Appointments is recruiting a Delivery Driver/Warehouse Operative to join an established distribution business based in Bathgate on a temporary to permanent basis.
Our client operates from a busy warehouse facility, supplying products to trade and construction customers across the region.
What's on offer?
* Confirmed permanent role after 3 months
* Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm - with an early Friday finish
* 12.71 per hour, paid weekly
* 37.5 hours per week
As a Delivery Driver/Warehouse Operative, your duties will include:
* Delivering goods to site safely and in a timely manner
* Planning and organising delivery routes efficiently
* Order picking, packing and processing goods in and out
* Completing all necessary delivery paperwork accurately
* Maintaining the warehouse to a high standard of housekeeping
To be considered as a Delivery Driver/Warehouse Operative, you will need:
* A full UK driving licence held for more than 2 years
* No more than 6 points on your license and no serious motoring offences
* Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
* A forklift licence is beneficial but not essential
