A leading international energy services provider is seeking a Legal Counsel to join their Aberdeen-based team. This pivotal role sits within the Legal and Compliance function, supporting both UK and international operations across a diverse portfolio of logistics and materials management services.
As Legal Counsel, you’ll be at the heart of strategic legal decision-making, supporting business units with contract review and negotiation—particularly LOGIC-type contracts—and advising on key compliance areas such as GDPR, anti-bribery and corruption, sanctions, and data protection. You’ll also contribute to group-level initiatives including insurance renewals, M&A activity, and financing exercises, working closely with external advisers and reporting directly to the Group General Counsel.

Commercial contracts experience and knowledge is an essential and key requirement for the role. In-house or in private practice background will be considered for the position. Applicants should have the ability to communicate effectively, think analytically, and operate well under pressure.
