Complex Care Supply Teaching Assistant\n\nFull-Time\n Location: Baginton Fields School, Coventry – CV3 4EA\n £85 - £90 Per Day (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)\n\nStarting: ASAP\n\nThe School and Role\n\nABC Teachers are seeking people to support students at Baginton Fields School with complex care needs.\n\nThe broad-spectrum school has students with complex care needs who make up a specialized sector within the educational landscape, whereby the school needs to be catering to students with often profound and multifaceted needs. The school serves individuals age 11+ who require extensive support due to medical complexities, cognitive impairments, or physical disabilities. Unlike traditional schools, Baginton Fields are equipped with expertise and resources to support a wide range of conditions and learning styles.
They offer a holistic approach, integrating academic instruction with therapeutic interventions, medical care, and life skills training. Complex care schools provide a nurturing and inclusive environment where students can learn, grow, and achieve their full potential, supported by dedicated educators, therapists, and staff members who are committed to their success.\n\nAs part of your responsibilities, you will be tasked with providing personal care, assisting with educational activities, and supporting the overall well-being of students with Complex Care Needs. Collaborating closely with staff within the school, you'll ensure that students’ educational, social, emotional, physical and mental health needs are met.\n\nThe desired Care Assistant will possess:\n\n- Experience in providing personal care and supporting students with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), preferably in a school setting.\n\n- A DBS Check, or readiness to undergo a DBS check.\n\n- A compassionate and patient approach towards supporting students with complex needs.\n\n- Dedication and commitment to fostering student well-being and progress.\n\n- Strong adaptability skills to cater to varying student needs and learning styles.\n\n- A proactive stance towards their profession and responsibilities.\n\nAs a Teaching Assistant who is part of our team, you benefit from: \n\nExcellent daily rates paid using the PAYE system.
