Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work, demonstrating proficiency with both hand and power tools. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various settings, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:00
Weekend work and overtime available (paid extra)
3-month probation period
Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
Ensure that all installations are compliant with the latest electrical codes and regulations
Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide effective solutions
Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently
Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients on-site
Requirements
Proven experience as an Electrician (Domestic and Commercial)
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in:
Fault finding
Inspection and testing
EV charging installations
Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to electrical work
Strong understanding of electrical systems and components
Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Minimum 18th Edition qualification
Inspection and Testing qualification
Full UK driving licence required
Preferred
Relevant additional certifications or qualifications in electrical work
Strong communication and teamwork skills
