Your Role
As a Driver working for Kuehne + Nagel (Aerospace & Defence) you have an opportunity to deliver excellent service to our customers through hard work and dedication that is vital to providing industry leading service levels. Your Responsibilities
1. Complying with all relevant legislation and agreed procedures to ensure a safe and legal working environment and consistent quality standards.
2. Any five from seven core working, this includes night shifts and some nights away
3. Maintaining and promote a positive image of Kuehne+Nagel Aerospace & Defence
4. Safe and high driver standards and positive driver behaviours
5. Follow all delivery, collection and returns procedures
6. Maintain and manage company equipment
7. Responsible for the security of the vehicle & load at all times
8. Report vehicle defects and ensure that the defect is documented
9. Comply with Driver’s regulations & Working Time Directive in line with the O license legalisation and Company procedures
10. In addition to these duties, you may be required to undertake other duties in line with the needs of the business, where appropriate training provided
11. Ensure all documentation is completed as per company procedure
Your Skills and Experiences
12. Must hold a current class C+E licence
13. Desirable ADR Class 1-9 including 7x awareness – Less 7
14. Basic numeracy and conversational English language
15. Hold a valid driver qualification card
16. Preferred 2 years driving experience
17. Excellent communication skills
18. Customer focused
19. Desire to succeed
20. Experience of working within a team •Experience of Health & Safety
